Chemlon exists for one material. We work with full-grain and vegetable-tanned hides, chosen for the way they soften, darken and hold their shape rather than for how they photograph on the first day.
Patterns are developed through repeated fittings, panels are cut by hand, and every seam is built to be repaired rather than replaced. The result is outerwear that becomes more personal the longer it is worn.

Each Chemlon garment passes through the same sequence, in the same hands, every time.

Premium Leather Selection
Hides are chosen by hand for grain, thickness and consistency. Only a fraction of what we review reaches the cutting table.

Expert Cutting
Panels are laid out to follow the natural direction of the hide so each jacket moves and ages evenly across the body.

Hand-Finished Construction
Seams are lock-stitched, edges skived and pressed, hardware set individually. Nothing is rushed through a machine line.

Quality Inspection
Every garment is checked against a fixed standard — symmetry, closure, lining, finish — before it is allowed to leave the atelier.
